The Lagotto is a rapidly, worldwide, growing breed in popularity and this is reflected in the increasing interest. Of course, we love to see that the breed we enjoy so much ourselves may also become a friend for life for others.
The Lagotto comes in a variety of colours, but never black. Of course, we understand that there can be a preference for a certain colour. However, we have learned over the years that the match between owner and dog is more important than the colour.
Imagine, you come to see the puppies and your dream is a brown dog. During the visit, the white doggie keeps coming towards you. Is the colour then more important to you than the interaction between your future friend for life and you as the doggie's new family?
If your answer to this is yes, then our advice is to enquire about a puppy from another breeder. Indeed, for us, the answer to the question is a definite No. We match puppies based on our observations of temperament during the weeks than the puppies are with us and the interactions with the various visitors we see during introductions to the litter.
