Pups verwacht!
Rond 25 november 2025 hopen wij op pups van Pumpkin en Ace.
Pumpkin (Rozebottel’s I’m Made of Soul) is bij ons geboren, ze is een inteligent hondje wat erg graag speelt met andere honden en haar mensen.
De vader van dit nestje is Ace, hij is in America geboren en woont nu in een gastgezin. Ace is een zeer zachtaardige vriendelijke reu.
De verwachting is dat alle pups bruinschimmel of wit met bruin van kleur zullen zijn.
De pups van dit nestje kunnen rond half januari 2026 het nest verlaten.

Serieuze interesse in een van onze pups?
Mocht je geïnteresseerd zijn in een van onze toekomstige pups dan maken we graag kennis met jullie. We plannen daarvoor een wandeling in bij ons in de buurt (Kampina, Boxtel). Dit geeft de mogelijkheid om kennis te maken met één of twee van onze honden en elkaar vragen te stellen.

Wij sturen normaal binnen een week een reactie en maken dan graag een wandelafspraak voor een nadere kennismaking.
Because weekly multiple visits to our home is quite an intrusion on our privacy, we choose to shape the first introduction through a walk. This gives the opportunity to get further acquainted and ask questions back and forth.
When the puppies are born, we will keep interested parties informed via whatsapp. When the puppies are about 5 to 6 weeks old, we will schedule an introduction. We think peace and quiet for mother and puppies is very important.
Where do the puppies grow up?
Al onze pups worden bij ons in huis geboren en blijven gedurende de hele periode dat ze bij ons zijn in huis. De eerste drie weken zijn ze samen met de moeder in de werpkist, daarna gaat de werpkist weg en zullen ze de puppyren als rust ruimte gebruiken en onze keuken en woonkamer om nieuwe dingen te leren.
Wij maken daarbij gebruik van de methodiek van puppy culture. Een nest socialisatie programma waarbij veel aandacht is voor de juiste balans tussen ontdekken/ leren/ verkennen/ spelen en rust. Niet te veel en niet te weinig. Dit sluit goed aan bij de ervaring die we humaan hebben opgedaan met sensomotorische integratie therapie.
Hoe bepalen jullie wie welk pupje krijgt?
We kijken hierbij vooral naar wat de pups laten zien, gedrag, interactie etc. We houden altijd de geslachtsvoorkeur aan.
De voorkeur voor kleur kunnen we niet altijd aanhouden, dit heeft er mee te maken dat wij karakter en het baas-hond contact belangrijker vinden dan kleur.
We weten dus meestal pas als de pups 6,5 week zijn welke pup naar welk gezin gaat. Wij stellen dus een pupje voor aan het nieuwe gezin, maar iedereen mag natuurlijk een voorkeur uitspreken.
Getting to know the breed
Have you not yet met the lagotto in real life? Then it's a good idea to do so first. For example, you could go for a walk with us once. Contact us to make a walking appointment.
Waarom hebben jullie wel eens ouder pups beschikbaar?
We regularly keep 1 or even 2 puppies reserved for ourselves or exports for a bit longer. This gives us time to decide whether we want to keep a pup from the litter ourselves. It can therefore happen that we sometimes have a puppy available that is already 9 weeks old or older.
Are there any older dogs/replacers
We occasionally have (young) adult dogs for whom we are looking for a new home. More information can be found on the young adult dogs pagina.
Wij wonen niet in Nederland, wat betekent dit voor ons?
Er is op dit moment geen mogelijkheid om pups zonder rabiës vaccinatie van Nederland naar België, en vele andere landen, te laten verhuizen. De pup zal dus langer bij ons moeten blijven.
During the time the puppy stays longer, we will start crate training and walking on the lead will be practised. Furthermore, the house training and socialisation that have already started will continue.
Een langer verblijf brengt extra kosten met zich mee voor vaccinatie, voeding en opvoeding. Wij rekenen hiervoor een vergoeding van € 500,= inclusief 21% BTW

Is the colour of the puppy important to you?
We understand that there may be a colour preference, however, we feel that the colour is secondary to the owner-dog interaction. If a colour preference is important to you, we recommend waiting for one of the litters in which we know in advance that only puppies of a certain colour can be born.
Good to know
All our puppies are microchipped, dewormed several times and have had their first vaccination before leaving the litter. We register the puppy in a database and when it leaves us, we have to deregister it. It is up to the new owners to re-register the puppy in a recognised database.
All our puppies have a pedigree issued by the Raad van Beheer. We work with a purchase agreement, which we will send to you a few days before the pups leave the litter.
We advise everyone to get pet insurance for their new housemate. In today's animal care climate with big investors, vet costs add up quickly. All puppies leave with us with one month's pet insurance from Figo.
Who gets which puppy?
Here we mainly look at what the puppies show; behaviour, interaction etc. We always keep the gender preference. We cannot give a preference for colour, as character and dog-handling are more important to us than colour. We usually don't know which puppy will go to which family until the puppies are 6.5 weeks old. We introduce a puppy to the new family.
When will we know if a puppy is available for us?
When the puppies are between 5 and 6 weeks old, we receive visits, taking into account what the puppies can handle. This means that we receive a maximum of two visits in a day with enough time in between for the puppies to rest.
When we invite you for an introduction, it does not automatically mean that you will get a puppy. We like to keep the possibility open for both you and us to not come to a purchase agreement at any time. We will keep you up to date via whatsapp and send you information about having a dog and raising a puppy.
