We are Saskia and Katrien and live in Esch. A cosy village just below s-Hertogenbosch.

Katrien grew up with animals and breeding dogs has always been part of her life. The very first litter born with the kennel name Rozebottel's was a litter of wetterhouns. After that, a few more litters of wetterhouns and Golden retrievers were bred. Unfortunately, the wetterhoun has too many health problems that breeding this breed no longer suits our vision.

Saskia also grew up with a dog that was an important part of the family.

We have been following the lagotto since the late 1990s and it was not until 2007 that we were able to welcome the first lagotto into our family. 

Our Vision

The mental and physical health of the parent dogs form the basis of every dog born to us. That it is important to have sufficient insight (where possible) into the ancestry of our dogs goes without saying. Whenever the opportunity arises, we try to meet the dogs. That we have to travel, sometimes long distances, for this is never an obstacle for us.

Besides good mental and physical health, we also strive to breed breed breed-typical dogs. But this should never be at the expense of the mental and physical health of both parent dogs and their pups. However, we are well aware that however much we do our best, complete guarantees will never be there.

Our puppies are born in our home and also grow up here until they leave the litter. They are all dewormed several times, get their first vaccination and are microchipped by the Raad van Beheer. In addition, every dog gets a pedigree issued by the Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in the Netherlands and a European animal passport from us.

We work with a purchase agreement, which you can read at home before picking up the puppy.

We try to prepare you as much as possible for the puppy's arrival by giving you enough information in advance. One way we do this is by providing dosed information via whatsapp. When you visit us, we will inform you about upbringing, care and breed-specific characteristics. But it doesn't stop there, even when the puppy is in its new home we are always ready to answer your questions.

We also offer various opportunities to stay in touch and exchange experiences after picking up your puppy. We attach great importance to good mutual contact.
