2 days in Dortmund

This weekend it was time for the VDH-Europasiegershow and national show in Dortmund. Both Caelum and Mc were entered. Caelum won both days junior class and he is now VDH-Europajugendsieger’12 . Mc became both days BOB and is now a new VDH champion and VDH-Europasiegerin’12. On the national show she was placed 3rd best in group.

We can look back to a lovely weekend with friends, looking forward to meet many Lagotti lovers next friday.

After a fantastic trip we went to our last show in Italy for now: international show in Alessandria.

Totti got CAC CACIB and BOS, Caelum BOB junior. Mc got CAC and reserve CACIB. Congratulations to BOB winner; Emila della Taparina.

We hoped to finish the Italian title for Mc during this trip but we could have never even dreamed or think about the way she did!! We are absolutely over the moon. Our sweet-little-sparkling queen know how to impress and steal hearts.

The boys did great today. Totti, handled by Saskia, won a big open class. Caelum was placed 3rd in junior class. Mc did an absolutely fantastic job on this warm day in Italy. She won CAC and is now ITALIAN CHAMPION!!!

It seems that was not enough for her after winning BEST OF BREED (72 entries, judge: Dan Ericsson) she went all the way to win BEST IN SHOW!!!!!! (400 entries Italian breeds only in total, judge: Claudio de Giuliani).

You should see the smile on my face. )))

Thank you all who made this possible for us, each of you in your own way. But all equally important. Thank you: Giel, Joke, Casper, Ilona, Camilla and all who I forgot, it is great learning from you and experience true friendship.

Today we went to the National show in Ravenna. 11 lagotti were entered. Dario di Casa Cleo won CAC and BOB, he ended the day with a 2nd place in best in show Italian Breeds. Gleska Goody-Goody won CAC and BOS.

Mostre Speciale Forli (Italy)

It was time to go to Italy. As the organization of the international dogshow in Forli had to cancel their show in February because of the snow, they took 21st of April as a new date for the show. This show was a Mostre Speciale for lagotto, 52 entries, judge: Gilberto Grandi (I)

We started the day showing Dario di Casa Cleo and he got 3rd exc in a big open class. After that it was time for young Apache Dei Boschi D’Oro who became 1st exc in junior males!

Gleska Goody-Goody did it even better than the boys: exc1th CAC CACIB BOB reserve BIS Italian breeds and finally reserve best in group!!!!

Eukanuba Award Group 8

On Wednesday April 11th, 2012, we went to Circustheater in Scheveningen for the Eukanuba Award Ceremony. During this strong competition, dogs gain points for winning “Best in Group” (10 points) and runner up (5 points). Also for Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show, points are granted. Our little Lagotto girl, Gleska Goody-Goody was Winner of Group 8 in 2011. We are very pleased with this fantastic result!

After the ceremony all owners of the group winners were invited to see the musical “Wicked”. We would like to thank the Eukanuba team for the wonderful evening.

International dogshow Leeuwarden

At the Easter dogshow “Caelum” (Apache dei Boschi D’Oro) made his debut in junior class. And how! He won his class and CC/ BOS at the age of only 11 months. “Miss Mc” (Gleska Goody-Goody) took another CC/ CACIB and BOB. We are extremely proud of our dogs.
